Storm Damage in Lilburn, Georgia

This is the bathroom of a home that was affected by a fallen tree. If you look closely at the wall, you can see where the tree caused damage when it hit the home. SERVPRO of Gwinnett County South was called out after the tree was removed and the roof had been tarped. We completed demo by removing wet drywall to expose the stud walls. We treated each affected area in the home with an anti-microbial cleaning agent. Just when we thought the home would be dry, the tarp stopped working and re-affected the master bedroom and master bathroom. Fortunately, the homeowner was able to get the tarping repaired and the new dry-out took a minimal amount of time. Now the homeowner will need to start reconstruction.
