Storm Damage in Gwinnett County, Georgia

This homeowner had a tree hit his home during a storm and caused damage. Due to the outside elements affecting the home, mold remediation was needed. SERVPRO of Gwinnett County South used a technique called Dry Ice Blasting. Dry Ice Blasting is a form of carbon dioxide cleaning, where dry ice, the solid form of carbon dioxide, is accelerated in a pressurized air stream and directed at a surface in order to clean it. This has to be done with full Personal Protective Gear, including respirators and full face masks. As you can see the dry ice removes the microbial growth from the services and then we come behind an use a Hepa Vacuum and follow up with treating with an anti-microbial.
